THE QUANTIMET CYTOSCREEN AND THE INTERACTIVE APPROACH TO CANCER SCREENING
1 Regional Cytology Centre, Group Pathological Laboratories, St. Stephen's Hospital, London, SW10 9TH, United Kingdom
Results are presented supporting the philosophy that malignancy can be detected by studying the size/density matrix of nuclei in cell populations to form the basis of an automated screening system. Some methods of cell dispersal and staining are briefly described. A preliminary assessment of the performance of the Cytoscreen is discussed. Submitted on January 28, 1974
