Composition of the transfer medium is crucial for high-resolution immunocytochemistry of cryosectioned human neutrophilsT Takizawa and JM Robinson Department of Cell Biology, Neurobiology, and Anatomy, Ohio State University, Columbus 43210. One of the more routine steps associated with cryosectioning of ultra- thin and semi-thin sections for immunocytochemistry is the transfer of sections to EM grids or coverslips. In a study of the granules of human neutrophils, we have found that the composition of the transfer medium was crucial to the success of these experiments.
